Simon & Garfunkel Through The Years

 

Celebrate the music of Simon & Garfunkel with this brand new show for 2017.  Enjoy the story telling of the two best friends who went on to record some of the most iconic songs in music. All the favourites such as: Mrs Robinson, The Boxer, The Sound of Silence, Cecilia, Feelin Groovy, Homeward Bound, Bridge Over Troubled Waters and many more.

 

Performed by Bookends with a live string quartet, featuring original movie and interview footage of Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel and a personal touch of narration taken from Victoria Kingston’s book ‘Simon & Garfunkel The Definitive Biography’ - Simon & Garfunkel Through The Years is a songbook musical concert like no other.

It’s the last night of the Summer Season so come along and enjoy some romping choral favourites including Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 and Parry’s Jerusalem as well as some much-loved British classics with themes from The Archers, Brideshead Revisited and the well-loved Sailing By.
